To Follow Passion, One Needs Team…
I had an epiphany today…
My real passion, my love for producing music has found itself way down on my list of priorities in recent weeks. How it got this way I don’t really know, but it is a little alarming. I think this is indicative of most peoples unconscious and habitual self-sabotage of their desired achievements and something which has inspired me to write an article on. I’ll publish that on my blog at Leave The Office
When I had this sudden realization of things it became apparent that although I made a very clear vision statement about my life and business a couple of weeks ago I have managed to get confused and stuck in the "How am I going to do all this and what if it fails?" loop without even noticing….Until now.
I’ve been consumed lately with how I can start making some real money online form a few websites I run and, of course, seeing as my mind is in a spin of confusion and a cloud of doubt I haven’t been getting very far there either, hence feeling cemented to the spot. Well now it stops again and I am focused on my true passion, my desired vocation. Making music.
When I arrive in Thailand I intend to have my working pattern already in motion. I will be concentrating first on composing music for Film, TV, Radio and Computer Games and already have a loose business plan around that. What I am really keen on though is finding someone who can help me. You see in order to stay focused and busy doing what I am naturally very good at and enjoy so much I need someone to handle the stuff that feels like hard work to me.
I am looking, in effect for a manager. Someone who just loves networking, making contacts, setting up meetings, promotion and PR. I am serious about this, so here is the first place I will start my appeal. The internet is a big enough place. I have the material and the talent to make whatever you are selling/promoting an effortless joy, as long as that’s the thing you love to do.
Teams are essential. Anyone who tries to go 100% on their own is almost destined for failure, so I want people who play at the things I have to work at who can help and in turn we help each other. I have big, big plans for my business, beyond just music, but multimedia and I have other truly talented, creative minds lined up for innovative, creative multimedia projects, so the future looks very exciting.
Stay tuned and contact me here.
It may seem that the progress with PB Studio is a little slow, but it is often the case in life that the most work is required at the beginning until momentum is gathered and then the project takes on a life of it’s own and just takes you somewhere.
