A Seed Takes Time to Germinate…
I haven’t gone anywhere and I have not forgotten this website, despite how neglected it may look. When I look back at the last few months I realize that I have taken on a lot of new projects and created for myself a mountain of work that really is more than one man can do effectively. This website has been in the queue for a major overhaul for quite a long time now, my current studio space is in a state of upheaval and I am moving into several projects that are requiring me to learn completely new skills.
I must stress that none of this is a complaint. I do enjoy being busy, but there are days when I feel busy, but there are no real results at the end of the day. This is why Powerbook Studio looks a little "Kryogenic" shall we say! Seeing as I am unable to actually run the studio at full tilt as I would like to right now and seeing as my focus has to be on creating a management system to successfully take care of all my projects I am not going to get stressed about having to do too much here on this site. Everything unfolds as it is meant to and as soon as I feel the urge that something needs to happen here then it will. I like to think of it like this:
Powerbook Studio is in a state of hibernation, rather like a futuristic space craft carrying astronaughts to a far of galaxy. It is in a state of flux, but when it awakens it will be light years away from the humble blog that it is now. I already mentioned early on in the life of PB studio that it was a seed that had been sown, so rather than keep tyring to dig up the ground to check how the seed is growing I’ll let it nourish and sprout as nature intends. Make sense? I hope so.
I do hope that in the next week I can add a new music clip to my showreel page, so there is still some life here.
