It Has Been Quite a Journey!
And it is now only just beginning! I have always loved music with a deep passion and have always been on a quest to discover a profound purpose that I can fulfill with my music, so it can serve other people in a positive way..

So how can enjoying myself, doing what I love, writing, recording and playing music (among other things) possibly serve you in a positive way? Well I am not talking about an empty promise of "Let me entertain you". For those who are interested in what I do I want to help you enrich your own life through your own music creation.

I believe I have found an enjoyable, interesting and, as it happens, entertaining way to achieve that and it starts right at the basics of what creating music is all about. The joy of engaging with your creativity and finding your own unique musical expression. You know those guitar faces you make when you play or the grins you and your friends make when you are listening back to a jam you recorded? That Joy. That’s what it’s all about. Feeling great, as is life in general.

PowerBook Studio is not simply a mixing or recording service – that’s boring. It is more a sharing of what I have learned and discovered on my 20 year music-production journey. As this grows, so too will the richness of the experience offered through this concept.

Add to that the support of having a service to back up your own audio production skills as you develop them; a little bit like a training program, but nowhere near as formal or constrained.
