1963 Brownface Fender Concert Amp Showcase
This track demonstrates the clarity and tone of Fender's Brownface era. They are so well suited to being recorded as well as packing a real punch on stage. This particular amp is the best amp I have ever owned and had the pleasure to play through. I am reluctant to sell it and to be honest I will only do so if offered an attractive enough price. This is what I call my "special one". The amp that helped me create my style and sound.
All guitars on this recording went through the Fender Concert, which was mic'd on one of the 4 10" speakers, even the bass guitar, which was then fed to a speaker emulated DI and not mic'ed up.
